Soft snow descends on quiet streets,
As starlight crowns the night,
The world grows still, and hearts awake,
In candle-glow and light!
The windows shine with amber warmth,
With laughter drifting through,
Old songs return on winter air,
Each note feels born anew!
The fire hums with stories told,
Of love both near and far,
Of humble hopes and fragile dreams,
That rise like every star!
In giving hands and open doors,
The season finds its way,
For Christmas lives not just in gifts,
But how we choose to stay!
More kind, more gentle, slow to judge,
Quick still to understand,
Remembering that peace begins,
When hearts meet hand in hand!
So, may this night and all its grace,
Through coming days remain,
And may the light of Christmas love,
Outshine the dark again!
