Autism is a different way,
Of seeing life from day to day,
A mind that thinks in colours bright,
Or patterns clear, or sounds just right!
Some hear the world a little loud,
Some find their comfort in a crowd,
While others love a quiet space,
Where thoughts can wander, slow their pace!
Words may come softly, late or fast,
Or hide until the moment has passed,
Yet meaning lives in every mind,
Expressed in ways uniquely kind!
There is beauty in a focused gaze,
In honest truths and careful ways,
In passions deep, in hearts sincere,
In noticing what others miss or clear!
Autism is not wrong or strange,
It is just another human range,
A different rhythm, step and beat,
That makes our world more whole and complete!
So, listen close and you may see,
The strength in neurodiversity,
Not less, not broken, not apart,
Just different minds and equal heart!
