Before the sun has found its way,
They are already starting their day —
Hands on the wheel, eyes on the road,
Carrying dreams and heavy loads!
Through morning rush and evening rain,
Through crowded stops and tired trains,
They guide us safely, mile by mile,
Often without a thanks or smile!
They wait while someone runs behind,
They show a patience rare to find,
They hear our worries, feel our stress,
Yet still they drive with steadiness!
Sometimes it is not a tip or pay,
That brightens up a working day —
Just two small words, honest and true,
A simple ‘thanks’ can carry through!
So next time doors slide open wide,
And your ride is smooth from side to side,
Remember this before you part —
Your thank you might just lift a heart!
