Norwich: A Charming Mischief

I wandered through Norwich on cobbled delight,
Where lanes curled softly in golden light,
The market hummed with colour and cheer,
And strangers felt like old friends here!

The castle stood proud on its hill so high,
A story in stone against the open sky,
While the cathedral, graceful and grand,
Whispered of time I could barely understand!

We laughed in cafés, shared stories and time,
Their warmth as rich as a church bell’s chime,
From riverside strolls to streets old and wise,
Each corner held charm, a quiet surprise!

But somewhere between the dusk and the grin,
A spark misbehaved, a secret within —
A glance that lingered, a brush of the hand,
A moment that neither had quite planned!

Not spoken aloud, just felt in the air,
A cheeky, soft thrill we chose not to share,
Then back to the laughter, the lights, and the view —
Norwich, you charmer… I will be back for you!
